The First 16 issues of Cloth Paper Scissors [Mar. 13th, 2009|10:26 am]
Find a new home for your craft supplies!

Someone asked me to post them here when I finally got organized enough to sell them.  This is the first 16 issues of CPS (1 thru 16).  All have been read but are in very good shape otherwise.  No rips, tears, water stains, missing pages, stuff cut out.  From a smoke-free, pet friendly home.  Yes, that's my son's kitten in the pictures.  She is all "Ohai! Camera! Must be for me!  See the cuteness?"

Asking 3 dollars an issue plus 10 dollars flat rate priority shipping for a total of 58.00. (Or you can pick up if you are in the San Antonio area) US addressess only, thx y'all!

Leave me a message quickly if you are interested, I'd rather sell them here than Ebay but they will go up on Ebay this weekend if no takers here.  Want to use the money to order my daugther's bday present!

Silk shirts to deconstruct [Nov. 7th, 2008|12:06 pm]

I have a copy-paper box of silk shirts, etc in various sizes/colors/states of (dis)repair.

I'd like to trade for a couple of eye pillows (to use with massage -- not scented, please!) or tarot bags.

Or, like, BPAL's Penumbra (yeah, haha, i know).

Or, say $12 shipped within CONUS?   I THINK i can cram them into a flat-rate box.

If I don't know you, I'd like to check feedback before agreeing to a swap.

Backstory: I got a bunch of the washable silk shirts at thrift stores some time ago intending to take them apart and make tarot bags, jewelry rolls, etc., and just never did. Now I would like them out of my way!

I am trying to get some cash together to help while I am laid up from surgery in December so I am clearing out a few things. I have a bunch of CPS magazines to go to a happy new home.

Winter 2004 Premiere Issue
Complete 2005 Year (4 issues 2-5)
2006 Spring, Summer & Fall issues (6-8)

I would love to get $4 per issue plus postage or I could do the whole lot for $30 plus postage

I also have Belle Armoire Autumn 2002 and Somerset Studio Jan/Feb 2001 available for $3 each

Thanks

Craigslist wears me out!  Noone who asked about these stamps ever showed up.  I so want them gone!  I'm open to all offers, cash or trade.  Have one?

If anyone is interested in these I'll sell them at the same price (i.e. ship for free). If I don't clean out my art supplies my husband will divorce me!!

Randomosity [Aug. 18th, 2008|01:23 pm]

There's about 200 old books, rescued, in the garage.  I want them gone.  I'll pack up as many flat-rate boxes as I can with them -- totally random -- and let y'all know how MANY boxes there are.

The person requesting a box is expected to cover postage, remitted through paypal (covering the paypal fees would be a nice gesture, but I'm not gonna insist on it).

Some are good for reading, some may be collectibles, all would be decent for crafting stuff.

Any interest?

ETA:

 Clarifications:

I mean old as in 20+ years old, mostly hardback, some tattered.  Good as craft materials, like background pages, cut-out words, etc.,, but they are not craft-instruction-books.

Flat-rate boxes start at $10.95; there's a larger size that is 12.95.  If you want the bigger one, say so, or it's the smaller ones by default.
MAY be able to fit two books in a $4.80 priority-mail envelope, but not betting on it.

upholstery vinyl and zipper ends [Aug. 3rd, 2008|05:21 pm]

more supplies available!

upholstery vinyl yardage:
1/4-yard pieces of upholstery-quality vinyl. vinyl is 44 inches wide. three different colors: white, gray, and red (which has a little piece cut out of it). i also have a piece of clear vinyl approx 18 x 24 inches. willing to part with this for $8 to cover priority flat rate shipping.

zipper ends:
so i tend to buy the really long 22" zippers for my craft projects, because i can cut them down to whatever length i need. these are all the leftover zipper ends that have been cut off when i am using shorter zippers.

zips 2

THESE WILL NOT FUNCTION AS ZIPPERS. there are about 130 of them in varying lengths, most of them are about 14" long and about a third of them are red. i saved these because i thought they'd be a cool craft supply, but years later i've never done anything with them. $8 to cover priority flat rate shipping.

Block/Screenprinting Supplies [Aug. 3rd, 2008|02:40 pm]

I have some block and screenprinting supplies I'm looking to get rid of.  I don't want anything really besides you to cover shipping.  I just want them to go to use since I won't be using them before they get all dried up!

Includes all this, I'm honestly not sure if the drawing fluid still works so I'd do a test of that before using it on a whole project.

Some of the paints are for fabric, and the other for paper, wood, etc.  The tubes are thick block printing paint.  Includes roller as well.  The paints are still good, most are 1/2-3/4 full except orange...black has not even been opened.

$10 including shipping.  Email me if interested!  misshawklet@gmail.com
